Tensile Strength Composite Sandwich Constructions
Flatwise tensile strength of sandwich construction is a measure of the strength between the substrate and the core material. If the bond between core and substrate is sufficiently strong then strength of the core material can be determined.

To meet the requirements of ASTM C297, we offer a range of fixtures for this type of testing. A variety of materials including aerospace grade, honeycomb core, continuous core, and organic or metallic core materials can be adhered to various sizes of specimen blocks which are placed onto dual yoke fixtures and loaded axially via a KASON testing machine at a constant rate.
The test results can be analysed using Software.
